COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --If you didn't sign up for the Ohio State Four-Miler--the Buckeye-themed run/walk that will finish on the 50-yard line of Ohio Stadium-you're out of luck.
The Sunday event is sold out with 10,000 participants.
The inaugural celebration of Ohio State football and fitness -- which will start outside of Ohio Stadium and follow a four-mile course through campus before finishing inside Ohio Stadium – is believed to be the largest debut running event in the history of the state of Ohio.
A portion of the proceeds of the Ohio State Four-Miler will benefit the Urban & Shelley Fund For Cancer Research, a general cancer research support fund dedicated to advancing cancer research at Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
