BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVN) -- Bowling Green State University has suspended running back William Houston after he was indicted for attempted rape. The Dublin Scioto High School graduate was accused of the crime on July 20.

An investigation by the school found that Houston was responsible for sexual contact without permission.

Bowling Green Police were called after a woman claimed she had fallen asleep and woke up to a man trying to force himself on her. Others in the home identified Houston as the suspect.

BGSU has suspended the sophomore running back for two seasons.
