COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --According to ColumbusGasPrices.com, a gallon of regular unleaded in the region is going for $3.51 Monday, 19 cents higher than last Monday.

The state average of $3.48,  up 9 cents from a week ago but 25 cents cheaper than a year ago.

The national average is $3.47.

"Gasoline prices continue to move lower nationally as we've now officially moved into fall," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan.

"Looking forward, we're likely to see additional relief at pumps in the months ahead, and it's quite possible that by the time we're observing Thanksgiving that gasoline prices will be twenty or more cents per gallon lower", says DeHaan.
