COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --Representatives from Ohio Auditor Dave Yost's office will brief Columbus City School Board members Wednesday on the results of the state's data-rigging investigation.

For the past 18 months, the district has been at the center of the probe into principals and other administrators fudging records to make the schools look better on state report cards.

Carol Perkins says her decision to leave the Columbus School Board a day ahead of the auditor's report is not connected to the investigation.

Perkins, on the board for nearly seven years, says she wants to spend more time with her family.
