COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- COTA is providing expanded transportation service to Red, White and BOOM! on 17 local lines and seven express lines from park and ride facilities in the suburbs.

Local lines will ramp up frequency until about 9 p.m. and express service to downtown will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

"The return trips start around 10:45 and those will run until midnight," said COTA's Lisa Knapp.

Boarding zones will be posted in downtown High St. bus shelters. Riders can also look for COTA employees wearing Red, White & Boom! t-shirts.

$2.00-Adults 13 & up (each way)

$1.00-Children 48” tall and over, through 12 years of age, and for Senior/Key/ADA ID card holders (each way)

FREE-Children up to 48” tall (limit three with adult family member - additional children $1.00 each (each way)

Park & Ride Round-trip Express fares:

$5.50-Adults 13 & up

$2.00-Children 48” tall and over, through age 12, and for Senior, Key, and ADA ID card holders (each way)

FREE-Children under 48” tall (limit three FREE with adult family member, $1.00 each additional)

The CBUS will run until midnight to serve passengers attending Red, White, and BOOM! activities. Starting at approximately 5:45 p.m., the CBUS will be rerouted off of Front Street. From the southern point at Front and Sycamore, the CBUS will travel north on Front, east on Livingston, and north on High Street, resuming its regular route. The CBUS will follow this path until midnight.
