COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Ohio's Attorney General spent Friday night in a Cincinnati hospital, but says he's fine now. Mike DeWine suffered from vertigo, a condition that caused him to feel like the room was spinning.

"This is actually the fourth time that I've had a vertigo problem," said DeWine who believes it may be connected to his issues with migraine headaches. He says he's dealt with migraine headaches during speeches and even debates, but vertigo is an entirely different story.

"When you have vertigo you can't give a speech because you can't stand up," he said.

DeWine said he actually started feeling okay after about five hours in the hospital, but doctors and his wife insisted that he stay overnight for observation.

"What they want to do is just make sure you're hydrated and that's frankly what they were doing," DeWine said.

DeWine was back at work on Monday and says everything is back to normal.
