MARYSVILLE, Ohio (WTVN) --A father and son from Marysville have been indicted in what police say was a 3-county string of break-ins.

Charles Huff, 46, and his son Brandon Huff, 21, each face 30 counts, including breaking & entering, theft, and receiving stolen property.

Both men are under arrest, the result of investigation that started last December by the Union County Multi-Agency Drug Enforcement Task Force into a large number of break-ins and thefts from unoccupied homes under construction. Items allegedly taken by the Huff's included copper wiring, plumbing and construction tools or equipment.

Working with the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and police departments in Dublin, Grove City and Upper Arlington, the task force determined the Huff's were also responsible for similar crimes in Union, Delaware and Franklin Counties between April 2013 and January 2014.  The value of the stolen merchandise is believed to be more than $30,000.

The father and son are due to be arraigned in Union County Common Pleas Court on March 7.
