DAYTON, Ohio (WTVN) --  A man accused of shooting two people in a Hocking Hills cabin has now died.

Michael Napoli was found in a Fayette County motel room where he held sheriff's deputies at bay for nealry six hours last week. He shot himself before deputies could get to him. Napoli was flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

Hocking County Sheriff's Deputies wanted the Westerville man for questioning about a July 19 shooting that wounded his ex-wife and killed the man she was in a cabin with.

James Boergers was pronounced dead at the scene and Kimberly Napoli was rushed to a Columbus hospital where she is still recovering. Her condition has not been released.
