COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Another round of winter weather hit the state late Sunday and early Monday morning, dumping several inches of snow on the southeastern part of the state.

A storm system moving up from the southwest hit an area from south of Columbus to the Ohio River, the bulk of the snow falling closest to the river.

By 4 a.m. Pike and Scioto County had seen about 5" of snow while Ross County had picked up 3".

Another storm system moves in Tuesday and Wednesday. It is expected to bring the heaviest snow to areas north of Columbus, while southern Ohio will likely see mostly rain. Central Ohio could pick up a wintery mix.
