ST. LOUISVILLE, Ohio (AP) --Animal welfare workers and sheriff's deputies have removed about 45 dogs from a Licking County property after reports that they have been neglected.

Lori Carlson, executive director of the Licking County Humane Society says that 20 dogs were found outside and another 25 were inside the home.

A search warrant was executed Tuesday at the property in the village of St. Louisville.

Carlson said various breeds were removed, including Yorkshire terriers, bulldogs and poodle mixes.

The sheriff's office said the homeowner has been cooperative. No charges have been filed.
