DELAWARE, Ohio (WTVN) -- Police say the deaths of two people whose bodies were found hours apart in Delaware were likely related drug overdoses.

The body of Shane Kraus, 30, was discovered just after 1 a.m. Tuesday in a vehicle on Bernard Ave. Then, just after 7 a.m., the body of Virgil Mitchell III, 37, was found inside a nearby apartment.

Police said in a statement that the deaths ``appear to be related and are being investigated as drug overdoses.'' No other details were released.

"It's very early in the investigation and they're still collecting evidence to determine what kind of drugs were involved," said Delaware spokesman Lee Yoakum.

The investigation is continuing. Autopsies are planned.
