COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --As a wintry mix beared down on central Ohio, one school district after another decided not to bring students in for classes, since it looks like they would have had to send them home early.

Columbus City Schools and most other public schools around Columbus gave students a 3-day weekend.

Doppler 10 Meteorologist Josh Poland says by the time all is said and done late Friday, snowfall totals in most spots will end up between 4 to 8 inches with pockets of 8 to 10 inches possible in areas west and southwest of Columbus. And, forecasters are tracking another storm system due to arrive in Ohio on Sunday. That likely will bring another round of snow changing to a wintry mix.
