BOSTON, Massachusetts (AP) --Prosecutors say for Buckeye and Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger has been arrested on domestic violence-related charges.

A spokeswoman for the Middlesex District Attorney's office says Sullinger is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Waltham District Court.

Police tell the Boston Herald that officers were called to Sullinger's residence over the weekend for a domestic assault call. He was gone by the time they arrived and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sullinger then turned himself in at about 6 a.m. Tuesday. He's charged with assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation.

Sullinger, a first round draft pick out of Ohio State last year, averaged six points and almost six rebounds per game in 45 games as a rookie last season.
