COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --Franklin County Children's Services says a teen suspected in a carjacking Monday night is back in custody.
Chiann Morrow, 16, is being held in juvenile detention following her arrest near Cleveland Ave. and 2nd Ave.
Children's Services spokesman Bruce Cadwallader police were notified around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday that the stolen car was spotted in that area.
Cadwallader says as a Children's Services aide was driving Morrow to a west side placement facility late Monday, she climbed from the back seat, pushed the aide out of the car and dragged a Good Samaritan who tried to help 30 feet. The two were treated at the hospital and should be OK.
Authorities have charged Morrow with one delinquency count of receiving stolen property but the criminal investigation continues. She has been scheduled for a court appearance Wednesday.
