WILMINGTON, Ohio (WTVN)--The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down Thursday night in eastern Ohio.

The twister was confirmed by trained spotters in Guernsey County, near Byesville, as an EF-0, with wind speeds at about 65-miles an hour.

A deputy from the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office was able to capture the footage, and was posted to Youtube by the office Friday.

They reported some minor property and tree damage from the storm.
