OSU says "no" to Richard Spencer speaking engagement

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- A "substantial risk to public safety" is being cited by the Ohio State University as its reason for denying a speaker's request to come to campus.

It comes from Richard Spencer with the National Policy Institute, linked to the white nationalist movement.

A number of other universities have rejected requests involving Spencer, citing safety concerns and the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia last month.
