Alert for OSU Campus on String of Dorm Thefts

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Police on the campus of The Ohio State University are sending out a notice to students and staff regarding a recent rash of thefts that have occurred over the past week.

Police say thieves are going into unlocked, unattended dorm rooms and taking computers and video game systems. The thefts have occurred since Monday, October 23rd, and students living in Lincoln and Morrill Towers, and Canfield, and Park-Stradley Halls have been victims.

Officers are reminding students not to leave their dorms and valuables unattended, and to not let unknown people into residence halls. Students are also asked to report suspicious behavior. 

So far, no suspects have been identified or apprehended.
