U.S. 23 wreck kills driver, passenger

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) --Authorities continue investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Delaware County that left two people dead and three others seriously hurt.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Robert Fish and the passenger in his front seat, 54-year-old Lisa Hiles were killed in the crash Thursday on U.S. Route 23.

Troopers say Fish was driving north on U.S. 23 when his car crossed the center line and struck a car headed in the opposite direction, triggering collisions with a semitrailer and another car.

A Columbus man driving the car that Fish struck, along with his two backseat passengers, were taken to a Columbus hospital with serious injuries.

Both Fish and Hiles were from Columbus.

The Patrol says neither of them was wearing seat belts.
