Driver in Deadly Dayton Crash Identified

DAYTON, Ohio (WTVN)--Police in Dayton say murder charges will be filed against the man who stole a police cruiser and crashed into at least two other vehicles, killing two children.

Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl says 32-year-old Raymond Walters Junior originally stabbed his father and crashed his own vehicle in nearby Riverside on Monday, before fleeing from first responders and stealing the police cruiser.

Biehl says Walters reached speeds of nearly 100-miles an hour before crashing into two vehicles in a Dayton intersection. Two six-year-old children died as a result, and at least ten others were injured.

Biehl says drugs may have been involved.
