COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A shooting on Columbus's east side Sunday afternoon left a 20-year-old man dead.
Police were dispatched to the area of Maybury Road around 2PM, where Kahalil Swayne was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Swayne was transported to Mt. Carmel East Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The suspect, 21-year-old Carlos Favours Jr., was arrested and charged with murder. He'll make his initial court appearance on Monday.
It is Columbus's 103rd homicide of 2019.
