Teenage Murder Suspect Surrenders Peacefully

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A teenager wanted for murder has turned himself in, peacefully.

Columbus Police say 16-year-old German Sanchez Jr. showed up at CPD Headquarters Tuesday to answer to charges of murder and felonious assault.

He was wanted for the incident along Applefair Drive on February 18th that left 20-year-old Jacob Todd dead, and 21-year-old Souleymane Gadio injured.

Both victims were shot.

Sanchez's charges are both considered delinquent counts, meaning the case will originally head to juvenile court.
