The Buckeyes first scrimmage of training camp was Saturday. It was closed to the public and the media, but coach Urban Meyer gave us a glimpse when he took to Twitter and released a highlight video. It's not much...1:35 to be exact...but with the opener less than three weeks away, we'll take what we can get right?

It starts with clips of the teams "circle drill"--including some impressive looking moments from freshmen Malik Hooker (24 in white) and Damon Webb (7 in white). In the scrimmage highlights, you'll see defensive back Eli Apple (13) make a leaping interception, receiver Michael Thomas (3) dive into the end zone for a touchdown and freshman running back Curtis Samuel (4) break free for a long run. Samuel has been getting frequent praise from Coach Urban Meyer. Again--it's not much--but here it is.
