Urban Meyer fired off some recruiting fireworks Wednesday, by landing commitments from two of the nation's top ranked defensive players.
Linebacker Justin Hilliard (6'2 230) out of Cincinnati St. Xavier picked the Buckeyes over Alabama, Notre Dame, Michigan and others. Moments later, defensive end Jashon Cornell (6'4, 260) from St. Paul, MN, chose OSU over Alabama, Penn State and Michigan State.
If you believe the recruiting rankings, Hilliard is the top linebacker in the 2015 class and Cornell ranks among the best defensive ends. How good are they? According to ESPN's recruiting rankings, Ohio State's 2015 class improved 17 spots, to number six nationally, because of the Hilliard and Cornell announcements.
Here's their highlight videos. As former Buckeye coach John Cooper used to say, "they pass the look test."
