The Ice Bucket Challenge has swept the nation this week. If you don't know, it's a social media campaign to raise awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Everyone from celebrities to sports figures to every day people will douse themselves with water and then issue a challenge to a friend, family member or acquaintance to do the same. The idea is also to make a donation to the ALS cause.

Urban Meyer's daughter Gigi challenged her dad, and her mom Shelley to take the challenge. Coach Meyer did today, with the help of what appears to be his senior class. The photo was posted by Ohio State Sports Information Director Gerry Emig and the video was posted on Instagram.

Meanwhile, just a few blocks away at the Schottenstein Center, Thad Matta and the Ohio State basketball staff accepted the challenge as well. Meyer, on Twitter, issued the challenge to LeBron James and Chris Spielman. As you hear, Matta challenges Buckeye Nation and the Wexner Medical Center. There's a lot of cold and wet Buckeyes out there---all for a good cause.
