Urban Meyer has put together one of the nation's best recruiting classes. It includes 23 prospects. Seven of them graduated from high school early and are already enrolled, the other 16 signed Wednesday.

The class got a late bonus when defensive end Darius Slade out of New Jersey signed with the Buckeyes. Slade was committed to Michigan State, but did a signing day switch even though he's yet to officially visit Ohio State. He chose the Buckeyes because of his family has developed a close relationship with new Buckeye defensive line coach Larry Johnson.

One defensive lineman who is not coming to OSU is 5-star stud Malik McDowell out of Soutfield, Michigan. Ohio State was among his finalists but he plans to sign with the Spartans.

Who's The Best??

Based on recruiting services like 24/7, ESPN, Scout and Rivals, the Buckeyes knocked it out of the park with top defensive players. If you believe the rankings, linebackers Raekwon McMillan and Dante Booker and defensive backs Damon Webb and Marshon Lattimore are considered the best players. Recievers Curtis Samuel and Johnnie Dixon are right there as well.

Here are some highlights of each of those top guys.
