COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --Viewers watching Saturday's Columbus Crew-Philadelphia Union match on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel got a bonus in the audio part of the broadcast: the sounds of a woman in the throes of passion. Or at least that's what it sounded like.
On Sunday, the network issued the following statement:
"We apologize to viewers who heard inappropriate noises during our telecast of yesterday's Columbus Crew game. it is unfortunate that a fan prank interfered with our live production and we will prevent that from happening in our future telecasts."
