To the north side of Columbus again as we are on a quest for the best pizza in Columbus. At first, we got a funky vibe from this place as it is really small and kind of in a little area. But, the taste is anything but small (get to that in a second).
The staff was really nice as we sorted out what we wanted to order. Eventually, we settled on: pepperoni, hawaiian, meat lovers, half supreme / half "Dubliner." As we were finished placing the order, they told us it would be about a 15-minute wait - but we also got free drinks! They had no idea we were there for a review, but this was a nice bonus.
Bridge Street Pizza is not a dine-in type place. They have a few tables and chairs, but it is primarily a take out place. They gave us the remote to the TV, so we turned it over to the Oprah channel. Actually, we enjoyed some conversation and the epic film "Dumb and Dumber" while we waited.
The pizza showed up and the "waiter," informed us that they were out of plates. No biggie, we have hands. But, Jeff decided to cut up the tops of the boxes into plates. So, it all worked out in the end.
Wow, wow, wow! All the pizza was good. The "supreme" was probably the most forgettable, but it was still very good. The two best were pepperoni and the meat lovers. Freaking excellent taste. I wanted to eat more but could not. Another good special to get here is the locally-named "Dubliner." Very, very good and unique.

BOTTOM LINE: 25/30 for Bridge Street Pizza. They rocked it. Get the pepperoni pizza. Really good - probably the best pep we've had. Meat lovers was also probably the second best. We were all really impressed by the service and vibe in this joint. The staff - you could tell - we happy to have us and genuinely wanted us there. Go here for great pizza. Easily some of the best in Columbus.
