UPDATE: Flight from Columbus to Phoenix diverted to St. Louis

UPDATE: A statement from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport says authorities found no security threat, and passengers are re-boarding the plane at the terminal to resume their flight to Phoenix.

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (WTVN)--An American Airlines flight that left John Glenn Columbus International Airport early Thursday morning, bound for Phoenix, has been diverted and landed in St. Louis.

The airline requested to land at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport over a security concern.  Passengers have been safely evacuated and a police dog was on the plane.

Flight 534 left CMH just before 8AM. It was due to land in Phoenix just after 10AM.

There have been no injuries reported, and so far, there has not been anything suspicious found on the plane.
