COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- An investigation is underway into a deadly officer-involved shooting in south Columbus.
Police say 38-year-old Jimmie Patton was shot and later died at a local hospital after he pointed a gun at them near Parsons and Southwood Avenues.
The confrontation is said to have taken place when police who responded to a 911 call about a shooter threatening neighborhood residents.
