Tom Izzo Gives Injured MSU Player Senior Day Moment

Last weekend, Michigan State senior guard Eron Harris suffered a torn ACL in a Spartan loss at Purdue and was lost for the season. That didn't stop MSU coach Tom Izzo from making sure Harris had a special moment on senior day. In the closing seconds of Sunday's Michigan State 84-74 win over Wisconsin, Izzo sent Harris to the scorers table, called a timeout, and sent Harris into the game to make one final appearance in a Spartan uniform. The moment got even better when Izzo instructed guard Matt McQuaid to intentionally travel to stop the clock, allowing Harris to walk to mid-court and kiss the Spartan logo, which has become a Michigan State Senior Day tradition. It was a class move by Izzo, who demonstrated what it means to put the players first. If you missed it, check it out below.
