Bond refused, not guilty plea entered for Brian Golsby

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The man accused of killing Reagan Tokes has passed on bond, and has entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien read the full indictment against Brian Golsby in Franklin County Common Pleas Court Monday, which includes the possibility of the death penalty.

Golsby is accused of kidnapping, raping, and killing the OSU student back in February. Her body was discovered at Scioto Grove Metro Park.

Golsby was also indicted in connection to six different attacks and robberies in the German Village area, from January to February, where his court-ordered ankle monitor placed him at all of the crime scenes.

He was wearing it because of a previous rape conviction, but O'Brien acknowledged that those trackers are not monitored in real-time. He says it's up to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to address that issue.

O'Brien also indicated that Tokes's parents are up from Florida, and will be each court proceeding regarding Golsby.
