HILLIARD, Ohio (WTVN) -- Hilliard City Council is ready to hold the first reading on an ordinance regulating medical marijuana.
At its meeting Monday, council members are expected to talk about the proposal that allows only one medical marijuana dispensary.
Cultivation and processing marijuana within city limits would be banned.
One local business, Hydro Innovations, provides growing supplies for a variety of plants and was hoping to be able to grow medical marijuana in Hilliard.
The state's medical marijuana program is required to be fully operational by September 2018.
