DeWine officially in Ohio governor's race

CEDARVILLE, Ohio (WTVN) - Attorney General Mike DeWine entered the race for Ohio governor Sunday, making it official at his annual ice cream social at his home in Cedarville. 

DeWine is entering a crowded race to succeed Governor John Kasich.

Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor, Secretary of State Jon Husted and Congressman Jim Renacci have already declared their candidacy for the GOP nomination.

Democrats who've entered the contest include Former Wayne County Commissioner Dave Kiefer, former State Representative Connie Pillich, State Senator Joe Schiavoni, former Congresswoman Betty Sutton, and Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley.
