Report: Sherrod Brown Considering Presidential Run in 2020

WASHINGTON, DC (WTVN)--US Senator Sherrod Brown is considering a run for President of the United States in 2020.

The Ohio Democrat, who just won a 3rd term in the Senate in last week's midterm election, did add when speaking to the Columbus Dispatch Monday that, "we're not close to saying yes."

Brown does credit increasing interest in the possibility of a presidential run through calls or emails.

He credits Ohio workers for his win for re-election last Tuesday, in the face of another sweep of statewide office wins by Republicans.

Brown was first elected to the senate in 2006, and previously served as US Congressman from northeast Ohio, and as Ohio Secretary of State.
