Rare Baseball Card Stolen from Delaware Shop

DELAWARE, Ohio (24-7 News)--A rare baseball card, worth over ten-thousand dollars, was stolen over the weekend from a shop in Delaware.

Keith Neuhart, the owner of Neuhart Cards, said someone broke into his store early Sunday morning and stole a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball card and nothing else.

Neuhart said the card has a serial number attached to it, which would make it easy to track if it is sold to another dealer.

Recently, a mint condition 1952 Mickey Mantle card, similar to the one stolen from Neuhart's shop, sold at auction for over two-million dollars.
