30-Mile Chase Ends in Marysville, Suspect in Custody

MARYSVILLE, Ohio (WTVN)--A chase involving a stolen utility truck lasted about 30-miles, and stretched across Columbus, before coming to an end in Marysville on Saturday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 22-year-old Kyle Price of Reynoldsburg fled from officers after stealing the truck in Gahanna.

The chase went up and around I-270, then west on US 33, towards Marysville. Officers say Price went into the median to avoid spike strips, then returned to the roadway and crashed into two patrol cars.

Price was taken into custody, and charged with aggravated assault, driving under the influence, and failure to comply. His initial court appearance is set for Monday morning.

Two officers were injured in the crash that ended the chase, but were treated and released.
