COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--It was one of the biggest events in TV for years, but Columbus-based LBrands says the Victoria's Secret Fashion show is now canceled.
The show, which has aired around the holidays since 1995, has faced declining ratings over the years. The event would feature models wearing angel wings strutting down the runway, as popular musicians sang live.
However, the brand came under fire last year after controversial remarks from a company executive about trans and plus-size models, along with the company not promoting diversity.
Victoria's Secret is a division of LBrands, which also owns Bath and Body Works and Pink.
