COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A Columbus man will spend the next 11 years in prison for posing as a teenage girl online, in order to distribute child pornography.
29-year-old Michael Moore was sentenced in US District Court Tuesday, for the activity that he conducted just months after his release from prison on a similar conviction.
In this case, Moore was investigated in September of 2018 for posing as a teenage female on facebook, and sending the explicit content to another 14-year-old female.
The content was found on one of Moore's four cell phones, that he had in his possession at the time of his arrest.
His previous conviction was from 2012, for posing as a minor male on facebook to conduct the activity. He initially received a state community control sentence in that case, but was found to have violated his probation, and was sentenced to five years in prison.
