DELAWARE, Ohio (WTVN)--The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down in Delaware County Monday afternoon.
Investigators say it was an EF-0 strength, with winds of 80 miles an hour. It was on the ground for about 3 miles near Jumper Road, and carved a path 150 yards wide.
It caused damage to a home's roof, and took down limbs and branches from trees in its path. It eventually lifted near Sunbury after being on the ground for about 3 minutes.
NWS surveyors also looked at storm damage in Union County from Monday's storms, and determined that was caused by straight-line winds.
