Man Sentenced for Role in Polaris Fashion Place Shootout

DELAWARE, Ohio (WTVN)--A man involved in a shootout at Polaris Fashion Place in March of this year was sentenced to at least 13 years in prison.

Levon Sommerville was sentenced in a bench trial in Delaware County on Monday. He was charged with felonious assault, inducing panic, and having a weapon while under disability for the incident. His sentencing range is from 13 to 17 years.

Sommerville was not allowed to own a gun due to a previous conviction.

Prosecutors say Sommerville and another man shot at each other inside a children's clothing store on March 15th. Sommerville was found guilty in September.

The other man involved, Anthony Truss, goes on trial in December.
