Intel CEO To Deliver OSU Commencement Address

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The Ohio State University has announced the lineup of speakers for the Spring Commencement ceremony next month at Ohio Stadium, which includes the CEO of Intel.

Patrick Gelsinger will address over 12,000 graduates, and their guests, at the ceremony on may 8th at Ohio Stadium, weather permitting.

Gelsinger was recently part of the announcement that Intel will build a semiconductor chip factory in central Ohio, with the investment of over $20-billion, and over $100-million in investments to develop talent and research programs, through local universities.

University President, Dr. Kristina Johnson, will preside over the ceremony, with remarks also from outgoing US Senator Rob Portman, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski III, and Dr. Grace Wahba.
