Epstein story squashed according to Amy Robach

ABC anchor Amy Robach was caught on leaked video posted by the right-wing group Project Veritas yesterday (November 5th) ranting about the network not airing her 2015 story about late sex offender and accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In the video, Robach appears to complain that her interview with Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre wasn't aired. Giuffre claims she was forced by Epstein to perform sex acts with Prince Andrew when she was 17 -- which Andrew has denied -- and Robach seems to suggest ABC killed the story in part because of concern, quote, "we wouldn't be able to interview "Kate Middleton and Prince William for other stories. She said, "We had everything. I tried for three years to get it on to no avail . . . I'm so pissed right now. Every day I get more and more pissed."

Robach walked back her comments yesterday, saying she was, quote, "caught in a private moment of frustration" that she didn't have "sufficient corroborating evidence to meet ABC's editorial standards." She also said no one at ABC told her to stop reporting on Epstein. In its own statement, ABC News said the information they had didn't meet their standards to air, but they never stopping investigating the story. Still the video is very compelling...
