Signing Day-Ryan Jacoby

When Ryan Jacoby committed to Ohio State, he was the first Mentor player to do so since tight end Jason Caldwell in 2000. And his commitment helped pave the way to OSU receiving a promise from yet another Mentor player, defensive lineman Noah Potter. Jacoby played hockey before turning to football in junior high. Now he is a first-team All-Ohioan in Division I, and he played on the offensive line of a program that was the state championship runner-up in 2017 and went 11-1 before falling to Lakewood St. Edwards in the regional final this past season.
