The Draft Comes to Columbus

As part of their celebration of the league's 100th anniversary, the NFL decided to allow the cities that were the original homes of professional football to make draft announcements from their towns. And that includes Columbus, Ohio, where the Panhandles played from 1901-1926,

The event took place at the Ohio History Center, which is celebrating sports in their own way right now.

The presenters were Columbus native, former Buckeye standout and Falcons/Cowboys safety Roger Harper, director of the Columbus Reaction & Parks Department Tony Collins, and the executive director of the Greater Columbus Sports Commission Linda Logan.

And congratulations to Ka'dar Hollman, Dexter Williams (Packers) and Olisaemeka Udoh (Vikings) on reaching the next stage of your career!
