Well Met in Columbus

Tim Tebow has had a hard time at the plate this season, batting just .136 on the year.

"It's not the first time that I've had struggles before," he laughed. "Go back and look at the Jets year."

While the Syracuse Mets outfielder and former NFL quarterback may be able to chuckle at his recent drought, he's still working hard to correct it, and to that end, he worked out at Ohio State Friday morning.

Of course, he was also stopping by to see an old friend, Urban Meyer.

Tebow knew from his time as Meyer's quarterback at Florida that he could deliver a perhaps helpful pep talk.

"We're so close," Tebow said. "He makes you believe in yourself, and believe in the system, and believe in what you can accomplish."

Having heard from his mentor, Tebow went out and hit his second double in as many nights, going 1-for-4 on the evening in a 7-4 victory over the Clippers.

See his highlights and hear what else he had to say about his visit to Columbus below.
