The Columbus Crew is making it possible for area soccer fans to watch together when the United States women play for the World Cup title tomorrow.
The team is setting up a party, with similar events being held across the country this weekend.
Kick off against the Netherlands is at 11 a.m.
Columbus Commons (160 S High St, Columbus, OH 43215) will open an hour earlier for those wishing to see the game.
Although alcohol, plastic tarps, tents, and staked umbrellas will not be permitted in the Commons, lawn chairs, blankets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages will be. Coolers, picnic baskets, and other bags may be subject to a search.
There will also be food options provided on site courtesy of Taquero Mad Street Food, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, and Dirty Frank's Hot Dog Truck.
The United States is competing for their fourth overall World Cup Championship, having won in 1991, 1999, and 2015.
There are a couple of other soccer-watching opportunities this weekend as well.
Columbus plays host to the Seattle Sounders at 7:30 this evening, and the United States men take on Mexico in the Gold Cup Final tomorrow night at Soldier Field.
