Urban Meyer has been asked quite a few times if he misses coaching and if he's ruled out a return, but last night, at a United Way event, an attendee who was part of the evening's Q&A session asked Meyer that question in a way it hasn't been posed before. So we're sharing the response.
Questioner: "Coach, first how's your health? Second, what's next for you, except for broadcasting."
Meyer: "I'm doing good. I'm doing good. Obviously, the head thing, I just have to deal with it, manage it. Really, it's not something that goes away. And I really love working for the best athletic director in America. We're doing some really cool things with our student-athletes. We were already doing elite things, now we're just kinda pushing things that no one... There's no template for what's going on right now at Ohio State. Other schools are going to try. All right? You know what's amazing? Everyone's trying. We're not going to let them catch us. So just some really cool things as far as life after sports for our student-athletes, and then working for Fox, a great company in television."
