Former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward is the odds-on favorite to be selected by the Tennessee Titans at No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft on several sports books, including ESPN BET and Caesars Sportsbook, on Thursday (April 24), hours before the first-round.

Ward was listed at -20,000 odds to be taken No. 1 overall, with Heisman Trophy winner and former Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter at -5,000 odds to be picked second, former Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter at -700 odds to be selected third, former LSU offensive tackle at -700 odds to be selected fourth and former Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty at -230 odds to be selected fifth.

Ward opened at 7-1 odds when sportsbooks initially posted draft odds in November, but became the favorite in early January. On Wednesday (April 23), Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi told reporters that the franchise had "come to a consensus" on keeping the No. 1 overall pick, which was expected to be used on Ward, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

"Everything the Titans have hinted at over the past few months suggests that Cam Ward is their guy, and this is why we are offering -50,000 on Cam Ward to go No. 1 overall in the draft," said Joey Feazel, head of football trading at Caesars Sportsbook, via ESPN.

Tennessee met with Ward, projected by many as the No. 1 quarterback prospect, at the combine and hosted him in Nashville for a top-30 visit, while general manager Borgnozi and president of football operations Chad Brinker attended his pro day.

"[I told them] 'I'm solidifying it today,'" Ward said via ESPN. "They finally got to see me throw in person. That should be all they need to see. But at the end of the day ... I'm going to be happy whatever team I go to. I'm just trying to play football."
