When Urban Meyer came to Ohio State he brought with him his "Real Life Wednesday" program. It is basically a series of Wednesday classroom sessions, that have members of the football team hearing about social issues, business opportunities, life after football and more. The program has become extremely popular with the players and with recruits. Many of the newcomers who choose Ohio State in the recruiting battles will site the "Real Life Wednesday" program as the reason why.
On Friday, the Ohio State Football Twitter account, which has become an important recruiting tool, released about a two and a half minute video with highlights of some of the Real Life Wednesday programs from the last year. It's well done and gives you a glimpse into why Urban Meyer feels the program is so important. Check it out here.
