Ohio State basketball coach Chris Holtmann is starting to build some momentum. Two days after landing guard/forward Musa Jallow of Bloomington, Indiana, he picked up another major commitment. Shooting guard Torrence Watson out of St. Louis, announced on Twitter that he would be a Buckeye.
Watson is a 6'4 guard, who recruiting experts say can also play the point. He is rated as the top player in the St. Louis area and is ranked among the top 100 players nationally. With Jallow reclassifying so that he can be eligible this season, Watson is Ohio State's first commitment to the 2018 recruit class. He has some very impressive highlights. You can check them out here and see the social media reaction to Watson's commitment from Ohio State assistant coaches Ryan Pedon and Mike Schrage.
